Meet Our Team

Dr. James Thomason graduated from Oregon Health & Science University in 1999. Prior to studying at dental school, he attended Ricks College, Utah State University and Idaho State University. Dr. Thomason has been practicing for over 26 years in Idaho, and he has been practicing here in Rexburg since 2000. He completed his new, state-of-the-art dental clinic on the south side of Rexburg in 2009. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Thomason has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible. He also maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association®, the Idaho State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. As a native of Rexburg, Dr. Thomason loves being back in Eastern Idaho. When not practicing dentistry, he loves the outdoors and frequently goes camping, fishing, motorbiking and hiking. He enjoys being with his wife, Nichole, and his three children, Taylor, Tanner and Tori.

Bry was born and raised in Montana! She has four amazing kids and recently added a son-in-law to the family. She has worked in the dental field since 2016, three of which have been with us, and absolutely loves it. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, crafting and cooking. Bry is very excited to be here in Rexburg and is looking forward to finding new places to go hiking and camping.

Jaime has been a part of the North Fork Family for the past 10 years and truly loves helping patients feel welcomed and cared for. Building relationships with patients and being part of such a supportive team is the most rewarding part of her job.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and six children. You can usually find them camping, side by side riding, fishing, or cheering on their boys at their sporting events. Family time and making memories outdoors is what she enjoys most.

Charlene was born and raised in Utah but found the man of her dreams at BYU while studying Social Work. Together they have lived in many different places in the country and the world while raising their six children. She was incredibly blessed to serve with her husband as mission leaders for their religion in the Paraguay Asuncion North Mission. They moved to Rexburg to be close to their children and the growing brood of grandchildren. She loves spending time with family, friends and outdoors. She has been a part of our team for two years now.

Brieanne has worked in insurance since 2018 and has been with our office starting in early 2026. She has a great understanding of how insurances and claims work and is happy to answer insurance questions you have. Brieanne was born and raised in Southern California and moved to the are in 2017. Even though she has been living here for almost a decade she is still fascinated how Southeast Idaho is different from California! On her off time, Brieanne likes doing various crafting hobbies and playing with her 2 nephews and 4 nieces that live in the area.

Amber is one of our qualified dental hygienists. She attended school at both Ricks College and Idaho State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She graduated in 2002 and has been practicing at North Fork Dental Care ever since for the past 25 years. She is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. When she is not at work, she enjoys playing with her four young kids and spending time with her husband.

Brie is one of our dental hygienists at North Fork Dental Care. She attended BYU-Idaho, where she graduated with her associate degree. She then went on to study dental hygiene and graduated in 2008 from Utah College of Dental Hygiene, and she has been working for Dr. Thomason ever since for 18 years. Brie and her husband, TJ, have four children. Her time outside of work is spent supporting her kids in all their school activities, from football and basketball to choir concerts and dramas. Some of her hobbies include gardening, cooking and being outdoors. One of her favorite things about being a dental hygienist is educating people on their oral health and the many friendships that come from it.

Kristen was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She pursued her higher education at BYU before transferring to Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene in 1995. Afterward, she moved to Rigby in June 2024 to be closer to her four children—three of whom are attending BYU-Idaho and the youngest is in 6th grade—as well as her grandbabies and her sister Brie, who also works here. Kristen has a rich background in travel and work. She has lived in Germany, Japan, Italy, and various southern states. Most recently, she worked as a dental hygienist in Italy, volunteering with the Red Cross at Aviano Air Force Base. Her love for the outdoors is evident in her hobbies; she enjoys hiking, walking, listening to audiobooks, quilting, and spending time with her grandbabies.

Bonnie has been with us for over 2 years. She started her studies at BYU-Idaho before earning her degree in dental hygiene from Weber State University. With her expertise and passion for patient care, she’s committed to helping you achieve a healthier, brighter smile! Originally from Saint Anthony, Idaho, Bonnie now lives in Labelle with her husband and their five wonderful kids—one daughter and four sons. She loves serving her community and is dedicated to making every dental visit a great experience.

Jules is from Dallas, Texas and is studying pre-dental hygiene, and has been a part of our team for two years. She loves to hike and loves animals. She plans to make the world smile and win a Nobel Peace Prize for saving teeth.

Riley is from St. Anthony, Idaho, and is currently going to BYU-Idaho. She loves to travel and explore the world. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, boating, playing basketball and working out. She enjoys dental assisting and getting to meet and help new people everyday!

Reese is from Waxahachie, Texas, and is here in Rexburg as a student at BYU-I. She is majoring in Public Health in hopes to someday work in the medical field. When she’s not helping Dr. Thomason save teeth, she loves to swim, hammock, snowboard, spend time with her friends and family, and is really good at word searches!

Emily is a born and raised Idahoan, and recent graduate of BYU-Idaho in Biomedical Science. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband Kade and golden retriever, Goose. You can also find her on the sidelines of our community sports coaching cheerleading!

Isabelle is one of our dental assistants and originally from Meridian, Idaho. She attended BYU-Idaho, where she earned her associate’s degree in health science and met her husband, Jonny! She is continuing her education and working toward her goal of becoming a dental hygienist.

When she’s not at the office, Isabelle loves spending time with family and doing everything outdoors! She enjoys getting to know patients and is excited for all the opportunities ahead!

Jonah is a pre-dental student at BYU-I studying biology and accounting. He grew up in Bremerton, Washington, and is married to his amazing wife, Kalli! He enjoys sports, music and the outdoors.
